Meet Rose

Rose Marie Walano is an entertainment and lifestyle journalist-turned-children’s author, with her first book, How to Befriend a Vampire (Beach Lane Books/Simon & Schuster), arriving in summer ’28!

Rose loves writing all kinds of stories, but she’s especially happy when those stories feel magical, inspiring, and, most of all, kind. She hopes her stories convince even the littlest readers that their voices are important and meant to be heard, and that, with a little determination and a lot of heart, truly anything is possible.
