Rose Marie Walano has been writing stories for almost as long as she could hold a pencil.
(The first was about a frog and her lily pad; she's still quite attached to it!)
After attending New York University, where she studied both Journalism and Cinema Studies, Rose wrote for a number of publications including Cosmopolitan, InStyle, Us Weekly, The Knot, and The Bump. Most recently, she worked as a writer and editor for The Rachael Ray Show's digital team.
While she still works as a freelance reporter, Rose is thrilled to now be spending most of her time on very first love: fiction. And she couldn't be more proud to be writing for her favorite audience — children (both young and old!).
Her first book, PINK SNOW, set during cherry blossom season in NYC, is inspired by losing her father at a young age. It is, however, a hopeful story — and she hopes to be lucky enough to write many more.
